Harvardwood is proud to partner with the California Lawyers for the Arts (CLA) to provide legal advice and services for our members!

THE MISSION OF CALIFORNIA LAWYERS FOR THE ARTS is to establish a bridge between the arts and the legal communities so that: artists and art groups may gain greater competence in handling legal and business aspects of their creative activities; the legal profession may become more aware of and involved in issues affecting artists and the arts community and, the law may become more responsive to the needs and interests of the arts community.

Dues-current Full Members and Friends of Harvardwood can receive entrance to CLA events for $10 instead of $20 ($15 instead of $25 at the door) by using the password "HarvardArtist2002" and calling 310-998-5590. You must register over the phone or pay at the door to get the discount. Discounts are not available through CLA's online ticket system. CLA also offers the Lawyer Referral Service (LRS), which refers clients to members of their attorney panel for consultation on a variety of arts-related business problems. The charge for this service is $35 for a half hour consult. Please visit the CLA's website for more information.
